4/17 – System Testing

• Conducted the test (again) to get the AC and DC conditions when all loads are being powered. Meticulously recorded timestamps of what we did at each time.
• DC power meter was not accurate at all so we ended up using data from the Whiz Bang
• Conducted test to drain batteries to 20%. Loads we had plugged in were: 1 laptop charger, 1 cradlepoint, 1 iphone charge, motor blower, 3 speakers, 1 270W crock pot

4/18 – System Testing

• Connected charge controller to internet via cradlepoint, such that its data was continually being uploaded to My Midnite
• Began test to recharge batteries using solar panels, with no load (small cradlepoint load was compensated for in the end)
• Began taking irradiance data by pointing meter straight up into the sky, every hour.
