Week 13 (12/11/16-12/17/16)

12/13 – Meeting with Pete Menard in C2E2

  • Can park trailers under unused bay in front of C2E2
  • Definitely big enough to fit either trailer under overhang completely; will be out of elements
  • Might be able to fit trailers side-by-side. If not, one can be pulled out slightly and they can be shuffled around as needed
  • Recommended RV roof sealant for trailer penetrations
  • Sealtite for waterproof, rustproof conduits
  • Roof racks/frames – Unistrut?
  • Or look into roof racks (ladder racks) for trailers.
  • Apparently, solar power manufacturers sell racks too
  • Looked at panels in front of C2E2 and got ideas for racks (See pics)
  • Looked into specifications of Ford Transit and Ford Econoline, per Matt’s email that the HMF might be getting a cargo van instead of the 12 foot trailer

12/16 – Meeting with Julia Yakovich (Service Learning – Office of Public Engagement)
