This week we worked on finishing the final edits on our proposal which was due on Wednesday. Early in the week we placed an order on Amazon for batteries, a battery charger, and plexiglass for our robot structure that should be in sometime next week. We now know that the UConn machine shop can use their CNC router to cut plexiglass for the body of our robot and they charge $25/hr for labor. We want to start building our rough model robot as soon as these parts arrive so in the meantime we have been working on various designs for our model such as structure and part placement. The remainder of our time this week was spent working on our presentation for our design review next week and on preparing ourselves to present.
